Makaroff School of Ballet
Classical Ballet Education
The Makaroff School of Ballet, owned by Jeanette Makaroff, is a classical ballet school located in downtown Appleton. The school offers ballet classes for students ages 5 and up during the academic season, with additional interim classes held in the summer.
The Makaroff Youth Ballet (MYB) is a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. MYB often provides initial performance opportunities for young dancers from the school who have reached the point in their studies where performance is indicated. Although many dancers in MYB began their training at the Makaroff School of Ballet, membership in MYB is not guaranteed to students of the Makaroff School of Ballet. Each term is 12 weeks plus an additional interim session in the summer.
